Hope Has Come: Prophecy for the Year

Hope in the Lord's Kindness

The Lord has set His eyes on you who hope in His kindness. He shall preserve you in spite of the current difficulties you face. Always put your Hope in Him for bigger and brighter days to come.

See, the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear him, upon those who hope for his kindness, to deliver them from death and preserve them in spite of famine (Psalm 33:18-19). May your kindness, O Lord, be upon us who have put our hope in you (Psalm 33:22).

Trust in God's Faithful Love

I, like an olive tree in the house of God, trust in God's faithful love forever (Psalm 52:10).

Praise Him always for what He has done
I will praise you always for what you have done (Psalm 52:11).

Proclaim before the faithful that His Name is Good
I will proclaim before the faithful that your name is good (Psalm 52:11).

SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND MATURITY

Be careful in everything you say
Why do you glory evil, you scandalous liar? All day long you plot destruction; your tongue is like a sharpened razor, you skillful deceiver. You love evil rather than good, lies rather than honest speech. You love any word that destroys, you deceitful tongue (Psalm 52:3-6).

Be Righteous and do not trust Wealth
Now God will strike you down, leave you crushed forever. Pluck you from your tent, uproot you from the land of the living. The righteous will look on with awe, they will jeer and say; "That one did not take God as a refuge, but trusted in great wealth, relied on devious plots" (Psalm 52:7-9).

Christ in Me, Hope of Glory

From the prey, my son, you have gone up! (Genesis 49:9)

For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great tenderness I will take you back. In an outburst of wrath, for a moment I hid my face from you; But with enduring love I take pity on you. So I have sworn not to be angry with you, or to rebuke you.

Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken, My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the LORD, who has mercy on you (Isaiah 54:7-10).

Their iniquities are not hidden from him, and all their sins are before the Lord. A man's almsgiving is like a signet with the Lord and he will keep a person's kindness like the apple of his eye. Afterward he will arise and requite them, and he will bring their recompense on their heads. Yet to those who repent he grants a return, and he encourages those whose endurance is failing (Sirach 17: 20 - 24).
